WBO interim junior middleweight champion Paul Williams (27-1, 14 KOs) will face WBC super welterweight champion Sergio Martinez (44-1-2, 34 KOs) on December 5 at Boardwalk Hall’s Adrian Phillips Ballroom in Atlantic City. The bout will be fought at middleweight poundage with no belts on the line. Williams was originally slated to face WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik, but Pavlik pulled out with an injury. Heavyweight title challenger Chris Arreola (27-1, 24 KOs) is also expected to return on the card against TBA.
I must say That was a killer fight. big ups to both of fighters. Awsome fight
Honestly I dont know where they get these judges but that kind of shit needs to stop. You could give that fight to paul williams on points but alot of those punches were pitty pat punches that did no damage at all. If you score the fight on who landed the cleaner punches and who did the most damage I would have to give it to martinez.
I watched the boxing match last night and i thought that Sergio had won that fight. I don’t know what match that one judge was watching, but it definitely wasn’t Sergio vs. Paul Boxing Match. That judge needs to get his/her eyes checked. I was totally disappointed with the score. Sergio won more endings.
