Bob Arum has announced the Pay-per-view undercard for Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley that is taking place on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The line-up includes two world title fights. WBC lightweight champion Humberto Soto defends against Urbano Antillon is a rematch of their 2010 fight of the year candidate, and junior featherweight titlist Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. of Puerto Rico will make his third defense against Mexican star Jorge Arce. Kelly Pavlik will also be on the card, opponent to be announced.

Marco Antonio Barrera (67-7, 43 KOs) moved a step closer to becoming the first Mexican fighter to win a world title in four weight divisions on Saturday night at the Coliseo Olimpico at the Universidad de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Barrera scored a second round TKO over Jose Arias (15-2, 9 KOs) in a junior welterweight bout to set up a world title challenge in the lightweight division later this year. The aggressive Arias was floored by Barrera in the first 30 seconds, as the “Baby-Faced Assassin” connected with a counter shot. Barrera scored another knockdown early in round two and the clash was stopped later that round. Time was 2:29.
Super featherweight Martin Honorio (29-5-1, 15 KOs) floored Adrian Tellez (11-7-1, 8 KOs) in round three and got the stoppage with his follow up barrage. Time was 1:22.
In an upset, unheralded super flyweight Jonathan Ramos (7-8-2, 3 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over David Gaspar (16-3-1, 9 KOs). Scores were 78-74, 79-73, 77-75.
Adamek vs McBride Date changed
Heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek’s fight against Kevin McBride has been rescheduled for April 9, If Adamek is victorious and the Klitschko brothers are as well, the selection of Adamek’s opponent is up to them, although they have said it will be Wladimir — unless titleholder David Haye agrees to fight him in the fall. In that case, Adamek would face Vitali.
Yoan Pablo Wins Title
Yoan Pablo Hernandez knocked out Steve Herelius to claim the interim WBA cruiserweight title on Saturday.
The 26-year-old Cuban twice sent Herelius to the canvas, and the referee stopped the fight at 1 minute, 19 seconds of the seventh round.
Hernandez, based in Germany the last six years, improved to 24-1 with 13 knockouts. Herelius of France dropped to 21-2 with 12 knockouts.
“I’m world champion,” Hernandez said. “It was difficult. I’ve had to work for a long time to reach it.”
