Today the T.K.O. Boxing Club in Santa Ana hosted Vic Darchinyan, Antonio DeMarco and Jorge Arce for a public workout. Vic looked in good spirits as he played around with the media and assembled children and adults in attendance. Gary Shaw was present as well and after a quick warm up and some bag work walked his two men Vic and Antonio out. Arce came later and was also in good spirits. He only stayed a brief bit but signed autographs and took pictures with the throng of Mexican supporters who showed up to see him. We were alerted that the host site, The Honda Center in Anaheim has opened new seating sections for the fight and tickets are priced at $35. On a sad note, I asked Gary Shaw about an opponent for Alfredo Angulo after Ricardo Mayorga pulled out and he said “nothing yet”. It doesn’t look good.
