Both Bob Arum, Top Rank’s President and Manny Pacquiao promoter, and Floyd Mayweather’s Jr.’s agent Leonard Ellerbe denied that there is preset agreement between both camps to make a fight for later this year according to the Las Vegas Journal.
“We are not even thinking of Pacquiao right now,” Ellerbe stated. “Floyd is on vacation and we have not spoken to anybody.”
For his part, Arum denied statements that Freddie Roach made last week about a Mayweather-Pacquiao match up.
“He doesn’t know anything about talks between the camps and I hope he stops making statements,” Arum added. “The only ones that know is Manny, Michael Koncz and me.”
i agree @jesus. seems to me in every boxing fight all you hear is the name pacman and everybody wants a piece of him. the h.b.o comentaters are horrible with there garbage ways of comparing every boxer to pacman. if they want to fight they will sign if not move on and look for good fights dont down grade and pick a clottey. dominate the division conquer it. its been awhile since its happen.

@ Jesus ,I really in promoting and publicizing big fight and I agree with that a big fight like should hyped due to the gravity of the fight,but don’t you think this is a plethora of hype.
I think that the fight is already hyped up .maybe I am wrong ,but this prolong negotiation is really getting under my skin .
I’ve said before in past blogs…this fight WILL happen. This has the potential of being the best trilogy in boxing history. Better than Ali-Frazier, Gatti-Ward, Zale-Graziano, Morales-Barrera. The promoters and fighters would be very stupid not to do this fight. All the blood testing junk is just HYPE !!! The controversy sells the fight. They could sell a million Cowboys Stadiums, and they know it.
seriously this imaginary bout became a nuisance
to all boxing fans .I lost interest in seeing this bout with all these rumors and prolong negotiations.
