Former three time world champion, Antonio Margarito opened up camp last week in Temoaya, Mexico. The city of Temoaya offers both the solitude, as well as the altitude that Antonio believes he needs for his December 3rd, bout against Miguel Cotto. Antonio is currently doing a morning run at the Otomi Ceremonial Center and training in the afternoon at The Temoaya Municipial Gym.

  1. I remember that too Jesus and thats a very good point to bring up. Prince Ahmed used cortisone shots before his fights because he had hand problems and he also said it was part of the reason he retired. Floyd had similar hand problems and I agree that its not fair to use that sort of thing. Your right Jesus it may be legal in Nevada but it doesnt meen its right, plus what isnt legal in Nevada? Its not exactly the capital of fairness is it?

  2. If I remember correctly edgar posted an article where Mayweather used some sort of pain killing injections on his fists. Those injections are only legal in Nevada. Then I thought why Mayweather doesn’t fight outside Nevada. His last fight in Nevada was in 2005. It certainly plays into the scenario of why he would not fight at cowboys stadium and used the drug testing issue asd a way out. Technically he isn’t breaking the rules unless he fights outside of Nevada.

    @Edgar
    If you’re reading this can you please repost the article or just summerize it here. I’m not calling Mayweather a cheater, but it does raise an eyebrow. Kinda like the Ortiz fight. He DID NOT do anything illegal but it’s like saying you find a check on the street made out to “cash” and you quickly deposit it into your account. There’s nothing illegal about that but it is not the right thing to do either.

  3. I have to tell you guys that the situation is really my co-worker, his name is colt and he doesnt know shit about boxing lol. He knows I dont like mayflower and was just trying to get me going. Good one Colt lmao, and buy the way hes the ice coffee drinking faggot.

  4. @Jay First off Mayweather is not a Cancer, he is a Pisces, do some research before calling someone by an incorrect zodiac sign. ‘The saddest story in boxing’ might be a good name for Mayweather but you have the wording wrong, it should be ‘The greatest story in boxing’. You almost had it though, I just had to tweak 1 little word. But yes, as we all know he is ‘The greatest story in boxing’. He himself is one of the best boxers that the sport has ever seen. Not even Muhammad Ali went undefeated, which means that in comparison Mayweather is better than he is. Winners will be winners and losers will remain losers, I honestly feel bad for you Jay, you are siding with the losers. There is a saying where I come from, and that is that ‘losers never win’. Losers in this case would be… hmmm all the boxers that you respect, since you don’t respect the best. You should make the first intelligent decision in your life and stop cheering for these clowns and start following the person who makes boxing the great sport that it is today, you iced coffee drinking faggot!

  5. @ situation I can agree with you on the Margarito thing bro:-). But the rest of what you said must make sence to you only, Oh and maybe your bro. Cotto, Delahoya, and Pacquiao are cheaters, liers, and joke boxers(you must be out of your mind). Mayweathers is like I call him “the saddest story in boxing”, hes like a cancer to the sport and not to mention the biggest joke of all boxing. Hes proved to be a straight up coward. You should remember that Mayflower never had the balls to fight three of the four fighters you mentioned and didnt have enough guts to fight Delahoya until he was way past his prime. You dont know what your talking about. like most Mayflower fans your delusional. Get a grip on reality buddy.

  6. @Jay I know what he was thinking, he was thinking that he is a loser and that he couldn’t win the fight. So he did what most shitty boxers do these days, finds a way to cheat. The thing is that he didn’t even have to. He didn’t need to cheat to win against Mosley or especially when you’re fighting someone as bad as Cotto. Margarito just wants what every great boxer wants, and that is to be a champion of the world. Too bad that that title is only bestowed upon the greatest boxer on the face of the Earth, and we all know who that is, Mayweather! But too bad for Margarito he can’t take back all of the losses that he has suffered. Mayweather doesn’t need to cheat to win, he is just a natural born winner, a grade A fighter, a cold blooded killer, a stone cold knock out. He would never think of cheating in his life, it would tarnish his good, no his great name. And I am sure that Mayweather has fought people that are cheating, hell he almost fought Pacquiao, but as we all remember he and his team wouldn’t agree to a drug test before the fight, what is Pacquiao hiding, he was one of you so called ‘good boxers’ Jay. The only thing that he is good at is shooting up steroids in a feeble attempt to make Mayweather flinch. What has boxing come to these days, its full of cheaters, liars, and joke boxers (Delahoya, Cotto, Pacquiao for example).
    Ohh and Jay, don’t call me Bro. my real ‘Bro’ and I are actual boxing fans, no one of you ‘Lets hate the best boxer’ crowd. Grow a brain and start respecting the best of the best. Champions make this sport, not the crappy boxers that you mentioned. No one wants to be remembered as a loser, and the only boxer that I know of that is undefeated is Mayweather. Who obviously is the best.

  7. Margarito never needed to cheat in the first place. He’s a good fighter but maybe he stopped believeing in himself. I dont know what he was thinking but its a shame.

  8. Yeah Edger but Margarito doesnt hit as fast or as hard as Pacman. When has margarito ever demonstrated that kind of strength before in his career? before or after that fight?

  9. Come on @manny L. are you going to tell me Manny Pacquiao also use Plaster on his wraps? cause I think Pacquiao gave Cotto a worse beating than Margarito.
