Four-time world champion Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines was greeted by hundreds of fans as he arrived in Los Angeles from the Philippines Sunday evening to begin training for his upcoming ‘Dream Match’ against Oscar De La Hoya on December 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. De La Hoya vs. Pacquiao will available on HBO Pay Per View.

Pacquiao will also take time to promote his first boxing show as promoter on Thursday September 25 at the Sycuan Casino in association with Sycuan Ringside Promotionsm, the memorable night of boxing in El Cajon will feature Mexican boxers against Filipinos with the main event pitting world ranked Bernabe=2 0Concepcion against Mexican champion Giovanni Caro in a ten-round super bantamweight bout that begins at 7:30 p.m. (local time). Other Pacquiao-backed boxers include junior welterweight Dennis Laurente (29-3, 15 KOs) fighting against Arturo Urena (20-15, 12 KOs) and lightweight Mercito Gesta (13-0-1, 5 KOs) competing against Alain “Conan” Hernandez (12-5-2, 7 KOs) of nearby Tijuana.
