With a record of 24 -2 with 15 of way of knock out, 30-year-old Robinson Castellano from Celaya, Guanajato, Mexico will be making his 5th title defense against Omar Esatrella. The 12 round bout will take place on September 29 at the Auditorio del Bicentenario, Morelia, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico.
His manager Enrique Guilbert said, “Robinson is a humble man, married, and a father to 2 young girls. Eventually Robinson hopes to get his world title shot.” Robinson has been a journeyman in boxing but is now one of the most recognized names in the featherweight division.
The fight will be televised this Saturday on Televisa Deportes.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. apologizes thru Twitter Saturday after testing positive for marijuana for his fight against Sergio Martinez.
I want to apologize to all who are disappointed or hurt by my behavior. Only I know the causes and it’s my responsibility to confront them. In contrast, I can say that I’ll emerge stronger from these events and I will put forth all my effort to vindicate my image in society.
What happened creates an environment conducive to making a stop along the road and thinking about the future. Today is born the new Julio Cesar Chavez beginning a new stage in my career that is reshaped. I’m preparing myself physically and mentally to achieve new goals, among which definitely in the short term is a rematch with Sergio “Maravilla” Martínez.
