James Kirkland (29-1, 26 KOs) continued the road back to title contention as he starched Alexis Hloros (15-4-2) en route to a second round TKO victory. It was fun while it lasted as Hloros caught Kirkland with several right hands early. But “The Mandingo Warrior” was far too strong for his Mt. Clemens opponent and dropped Hloros twice in the first round and polished him off with a missile right hook in the opening moments of the second. Kirkland is now 2-0 with Ann Wolfe back in his corner and proves to still be an entertaining fighter to watch. Time of stoppage was :25.
