Former WBO junior welterweight champion Kendall Holt (27-4, 15 KOs) scored a spectacular third round KO over two-time IBF lightweight champion Julio Diaz (38-7, 27 KOs) on Friday night before a sellout crowd at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California.

In the third round, Holt landed a left hook to the body, followed immediately with a left hook to the head that dropped Diaz hard to the canvas. Diaz beat the count but stood up on very wobbly legs, prompting referee Marcos Rosales to stop the fight at 2:37. Click Here for Full report and Lots of Photos

  1. All Diaz did was stand in front of him and it cost him the fight I don’t know what he was trying to prove but it was dumb to stand and trade with a power puncher like Holt.
