Damn time flies, can you believe we’re in March already? April fool’s is almost upon us again, I love April fool’s, its like when you were in high school and you have your best friend ask some girl

on a date for you and when she says no, you say, “Oh I am just playing, April fool’s”. Or maybe that was just me… anyway…

I wish Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey was a big April fool’s joke we can throw under a bus. Seriously, I am not excited or looking forward to this fight. Nothing against Clottey but he lost to Miguel Cotto, the same Puerto Rican Pacquiao demolished.

It doesn’t make sense to me. You would think Pacquiao will move forward not back. HELLO? If you beat Cotto, I am sure you can beat the same guy Cotto beat. This is what drives people away from boxing and I am getting tired of backing it up.

It’s people like Bob Arum who all they think about is money and more money, he couldn’t have Manny fight someone else.Trust me I learn my lesson, I will never pay for another pay-per-view that features Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. If I wanted to see bums fight other bums, I will rather pay a bum off the street to fight and I bet it will be more entertaining.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission suspended Chavez for 7 months and fined him $10,000 earlier this week for testing positive of illegal drugs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. tested positive for a diuretic in his pre-fight drug test from his last bout against Troy Rowland on November 14th at the MGM in Las Vegas.

Chavez claims the medication was prescribed by his doctor. Regardless he took the illegal drug, now do your time. The suspension was retroactive back to November 14, 2009.

Anyways, if you have a twitter account, make sure you follow me, I promise I am not annoying like Paul Malignaggi.

  1. Manny’s fights are all hand picked my his promotor who is juicing him with EPO and human growth hormone .people wake up and being naive

  2. You forget boxing a business. If the fight makes money, of course it will be made. Jerry Jones made a strong push to have the fight at Cowboys Stadium. Guess what, last I heard it was almost sold out. Unwatchable fight or not, it’s paid for already. Unfortunately, fights are not made in the fans’ best interest.

The fact that Pacquiao beat Cotto and Cotto beat Clottey doesn’t mean a thing. Ali lost to both Norton and Fraizer the first time around in fights that went the distance. George Foreman beat the hell out of both Norton and Fraizer. Both fights ended in 2nd round knockouts. By your logic, Ali had no chance against Foreman.

Anyway I respect everyones comments and opinion.

One other thing, JC Chavez Jr got what he deserved. He slipped, got caught. It’s time to pay the piper now. See you in the fall on the Pacquiao-Mayweather undercard. I still think this fight will be made in the fall. Look fot it to be in a big ass stadium type venue so they can sell a zillion tix.
