Son of the legend, JULIO CÉSAR CHÁVEZ, JR., has been tapped to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Tomorrow’s game at Dodger Stadium, between the host Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals. Chávez will throw the heater at approximately 7 P.M. PT.
Chávez Jr (40-0-1, 30 KOs), of Culiacan, México, is in deep training with Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood for his upcoming rumble against Top-10 middleweight contender “Ireland’s” JOHN DUDDY. Chávez vs. Duddy headlines Latin Fury 15: La Furia de México, the four-fight pay-per-view extravaganza which takes place Saturday, June 26 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

I’m just glad Jr. is not in Culiacan. He doesn’t need any distractions and does need to concentrate on his training with Freddie Roach. To this point he has been wasted talent and that is the reason for all the critisism and the bum opponents. Can anyone name his last two oppponents without looking it up ? Didn’t think so.
