Jermain Taylor is Back!

Former unified middleweight world champion Jermain Taylor is back after his 12th round KO lost to Arthur Abraham in October 2009. Taylor will appear in Showtime on December 30th from the Morongo Casino in Cabazon, CA.

He will take on Jessie Nicklow after being diagnosed with concussion-like symptoms, even suffering from some memory loss he was force to pull out of the World Boxing Classic super middleweight tournament. According to his promoter, Lou DiBella, confirmed Taylor passed neurological tests by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, who also approved his boxing license.

Also on the card super middleweight Andre Dirrell, who will take on Darryl Cunningham in a 10 round bout.

  1. Taylor’s accomplished quite a bit, he should have just been happy with his accomplishments and retire. I like the guy but I don’t want to see him get hurt even worse.
