The two boxers will fight for the WBA middleweight world championship on February 19, 2011 in Stuttgart. The bout, billed as “The Settlement” will be aired live in Germany on SAT.1.
“Everybody knows that Marvin Hagler is my boxing idol,” Sturm said. “The fight between Hagler and Ronald’s father Thomas was a brutal war and one of the greatest fights in the history of boxing. But Hagler destroyed Hearns and now I will do the same to his son.”
