On Saturday, September 27th from the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, and broadcast on HBO, Mosley (44-5, 37 KO’s), ranked #1 by the WBO, #4 by the IBF, and #6 by the WBA in the welterweight division will move back up to the Jr. Middleweight division to battle the WBA #2 ranked and WBC #3 ranked former two division World Champion, Ricardo “El Matador” Mayorga (29-6-1, 23 KO’s).
“I think it’s going to be a two or three round knockout,” predicted Ricardo Mayorga today. Mayorga faces Sugar Shane Mosley on Saturday at the Home Dept Center in Carson, California. “I’m fighting a guy that’s really smaller than me and he’s weak. He’s not like the big guys that I’ve been fighting that were tough.” As usual, ‘El Matador’ was just getting started. “Mosley’s speed is gone already and I still have my power. For this fight I’ve trained very hard and I’m going to prove it on Saturday night. I’m definitely going to retire him because he deserves to be home washing dishes. His wife is the one that’s in charge. He needs to go home and listen to her!”
There’s no question that “Sugar” Shane Mosley is a future hall of famer. Having won World Championships in three divisions as well as being the top fighter in the world pound for pound at one point will certainly not leave any doubt.
With a potential fight against Margarito in the future, there is going to be plenty of boxing fans rooting for “Sugar” Shane to become victorious against Mayorga. Let’s hope that Shane is not already preparing himself for that future showdown.

I think Mosley will win this one on the 7th by TKO.
Mayorga will start strong but will probably gas out in the later rounds and wont be able to react to Mosley’s speed.

mosley is faster he still has his speed and quickness .mosley will not knock mayorga out but he win by points .they will go the distance its going to be a good fight
