Don King’s wife, Henrietta, died at 87 leaving behind three children, Eric, 57, Debbie, 47 and Carl, 52. Henrietta King, although resided in Florida for many 
years she will be buried near Manalapan and their hometown of Cleveland.
“[She is] the woman behind whatever success and achievement that I have accomplished in the race of life in this great country of America and the world,” Do King had said of his wife. She was, King said, “most of all, a faithful, loyal, dedicated, committed wife. A grand and great woman. Truly a gift from God, whom I thank incessantly for.”
Don King’s spokesman Robert Weneck confirmed that Henrietta King died Thursday night from complications from stomach cancer she had been battling since 2006. Don King and her family were with her when she died at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton.
