WBA featherweight champion Chris John has pulled out of Saturday’s world title defense against Rocky Juarez at Staples Center in Los Angeles. According to ESPN, John is suffering from an unspecified blood problem that caused him to faint while sparring on Saturday. A new opponent for Juarez is being sought.

This is easily the weakest card ever at Staples Center. Why put this card there and not a smaller venue? Some people in boxing should lose their jobs.
