A rematch between Chris John (42-0-2, 22 KOs) and Rocky Juarez (28-4-1, 20 KOs) is scheduled for June 27th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. This is excellent news because the previous fight between John, 29, and Juarez ended up in a controversial 12-round draw in February at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
John appeared to easily win the fight by a huge margin, winning a minimum of 10 of the 12 rounds of the fight but ending up with a draw with the hometown fighter Juarez. This time, the WBA champion John will once again be fighting out of his native country of Indonesia but at least the fight won’t be in Juarez’s hometown of Houston, Texas. I personally think Chris John got robbed!!
The co-main event will be Victor Ortiz against WBA junior welterweight titleholder Andreas Kotelnik. This card hasn’t been confirmed yet. I am just glad there bringing another boxing event to the Staples Center.
CJ got robbed badly, since CJ won most of the rounds, they couldn’t rob him more than a draw or else its too obvious.
oh yeah,, the judges on the score card on the first time around come on!
why were they all american. please…
get real!!
Chris will surely win the bout. No wonder. He was robbed in his last fight again Rocky Juarez. Now the battle ground is Los Angeles where thousands of Indonesians live in. They will give full support to their heroes. Rocky will kiss canvas in round 10 or 11…..
I’m Indonesian….
Seluruh warga Indonesia mendukung CJ..
Buatlah kami bangga CJ!!!!
Godbless you.
