The fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Matthew Hatton on March 5 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., on HBO will be formally announced at a 1 p.m. news conference Friday at El Mercardo in downtown Los Angeles.

@Danny Mac I don’t think it will be the easiest fight for Canelo. Mathew Hatton is good. I have seen few of his fights before.. I don’t think Canelo will knock him out but he will win via points.
I have to say at least it isn’t another old man but could have picked someone a little better and more entertaining but I’ll still watch.
This will be the easiest fight of Alverez’s career,Mathew Hatton is the most boring fighter I’ve ever seen and Alverez will ko him in 3 rounds.
Canelo vs Matt Hatton, alright, that should be a good one. I might go and see this one live.
