DeMarco (22-1-1, 16KO) of Los Mochis, MX, but residing in Tijuana, trains under the watchful eye of Romulo Quirarte Sr. at the CREA gym in Tijuana.

“We are in the toughest part of training camp and I feel confident in my preparation and in my team’s,” DeMarco states in between sessions.  “This is a very important fight for my career  and for my family and that is why we give our all.”

The twelve round bout is for the interim WBC lightweight title and will be the semi main event of Joseph Agbeko’s defense of his IBF bantamweight title versus Yonnhy Perez.
Both contests will be televised by Showtime and will mark the sixth time that DeMarco is featured over its airwaves.

The night will also mark the first time that DeMarco fights in Las Vegas, NV.
“To fight in Las Vegas is a dream for any fighter but at the same time it is more pressure since the fight is for a title,” DeMarco confessed.  “I am confident and ready.”
