WBC #5/WBA #6/IBF #9/WBO #8 jr middleweight Alfredo Angulo (16-1, 13 KOs), rebounding from his first career loss against Kermit Cintron in May, crushed Gabriel Rosado (12-4, 7 KOs) in under two rounds on Friday night at Buffalo Bill’s Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, Nevada. Angulo dropped Rosado three times in round two and the bout was waved off.

Unbeaten middleweight Anthony Dirrell (18-0, 15 KOs) pummeled iron-jawed Alfredo Contreras (10-6-1, 4 KOs) until the game Contreras’ corner threw in the towel in round seven. Time was 2:32.

Unbeaten junior welterweight Sharif Bogere (12-0, 7 KOs) scored a second round stoppage over Rodolfo Armenta (7-2-1, 5 KOs). Armenta was down twice before the bout was halted at 1:07 of round two.
