IBF bantamweight champion Joseph Agbeko (27-1, 22 KOs) took a hard fought unanimous decision over unified super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan (32-2-1, 26 KOs) on Saturday night at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. A close fight turned when Darchinyan scored a flash knockdown in round seven, however Agbeko took “The Raging Bull” out of his game in the eighth. Darchinyan rallied in the ninth, but was pretty busted up. Agbeko closed strong to win. Scores were 116-111, 114-113, 114-113.

In a WBC lightweight eliminator, Antonio DeMarco (21-1-1, 15 KOs) scored a ninth round KO over Anges Adjaho (25-2, 14 KOs). After a slow start, Adjaho pressed the action over the early rounds. DeMarco got on track in the fourth and staggered Adjaho in the sixth. Adjaho, however, turned the tables rocking DeMarco in the eighth. Adjaho was hurt and took a knee at the end of the ninth. DeMarco then grazed him on the back of the head while kneeling. Adjaho rolled over and was counted out. Time was 2:59.
He’s a bum…..LOL
Well said Tijuana………
Darchinyan got a taste of his own medicine.
Oh and whats with this African fighters and their drama? they could seriously make it into Hollywood with all that good acting, Adjaho wasn’t that badly hurt and he totally lost the fight with that acting lol, it reminds me of Clottey and the way he relied more on acting than finishing a badly cut Cotto.
They should lean Joseph Agbeko, he took no more than 15 seconds after a low blow from Darchinyan.
Then again maybe they have learn the acting from watching this video LOL you have to see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6yLDq0iK4U
No disrespect to his fans, but ..Who cares!
This guy is a disrespectful fighter and he got what he deserved, could not carry his weird punch power to this upper weight and thankfully the bully got bullied.
