Am I the only person who thinks Ricky Hatton shouldn’t retire? There has been much speculation as to whether the former two weight champion from Manchester will return to the boxing ring or will leave the sport. This will be the second time in dramatic fashion that the “Hit man” losses, but he has fought the best twice and lost. If he was to carry on and lose to a lesser fighter, then it would be a different story.
Hatton’s defeat may have come against a living legend in Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena but instead of criticizing him give him the credit he deserves, he faced the best in pound-for-pound champs Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Ricky Hatton is one of the most popular fighters of all time. Hatton was scheduled for a November fight against Michael Katsidis in the UK but now its up in the air. I would rather see Ricky Hatton fight again than to hear his retirement because we already know the routine. He retires now and in a few months, he’ll be coming out of retirement, I hate when they do that.

Being one of the dirtiest fighters (not boxer) in the sport, he should retire. The guy does not know how to box and all he does is clinch and hold. Hatton please do us all true boxing fans a favor and get the heck out of the sport!!!
