It has been confirmed by Ole.com, an Argentinean web portal, that in early July former WBC welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir will face no other than the “Tijuana Tornado” Antonio Margarito in Tijuana, MX in a WBC eliminator.
It was first reported that this contest will occur when Margarito himself mentioned it late last month exclusively to Felipe Leon MyBoxingFans editor-in-chief.
“I will be traveling to to Big Bear where Oscar De La Hoya used to train to prepare myself, I am very excited,” stated the ex world champ Baldomir.

You don’t get to even talk about “second chances” until you confess your sins, show some genuine contrition and serve your penance. Sadly, the TT is 0 for 3 in this regard. Team Margarito (apparently with his WBC facilitators bringing even additional shame to the sport out of this incident if that’s even possible) is now thumbing the boxing community in the eye by moving forward in this manner. If he persists in this stupidity, his career– which make no mistake was already in jeopardy do to his/his team’s misconduct– will be completely unsalvageable. Kiss it goodbye.
Billy Collins didn’t get a second chance, did he? Remember, Margarito is the perpetrator here, not the victim, in all this.
we all need a second chance and margarito needs that second chance to keep proof-bing that not only that he has a iron chin but that he has pressure power with out plasster
