IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch (30-2, 22 KO’s) takes on WBA super middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler (46-2, 35 KO’s) in a highly anticipated boxing rematch on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the London’s O2 Arena.
Carl Froch is determined to defeat Mikkel Kessler saying he will “kill” his opponent if he has to.
“On Saturday night, if I have to, I will kill this f****r,” Froch told the Guardian. “Sorry about the language, but I will kill him.

Super middleweight champ Andre Ward who beat both Froch and Kessler will be at ringside to call the fight as part of the HBO broadcast team.
The winner of Kessler-Froch II could potentially get a rematch with Ward, who doesn’t exactly have a plethora of name opponents to face when he returns to the ring (probably in September) following a shoulder injury and subsequent surgery.
