Its official WBC Silver lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco will take on Jorge Linares for the full fledged WBC strap that was relinquished earlier this year by Humberto “Zorrita” Soto.
The twelve round championship bout will take place on the under card of the Bernard Hopkins-Chad Dawson tilt scheduled for October 15th at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
Hopkins and Dawson will host a press conference today, August 08 at the Staple center to officially announce there fight. Demarco and Linares will also be in attendance.
