Mexican Boxing Phenom Saul “Canelo” Alvarez speaks to members of the media on September 2, 2010 in Guadalajara, Mexico during a media workout in preparation for his September 18, 2010 fight against former World Champion Carlos Baldomir which will take place on the undercard of Shane Mosley vs. Sergio Mora at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California and will be televised live on HBO Pay-Per-View.
“Every opponent I’ve faced has said they’re going to knock me out. I don’t care about words, I’m going to be the winner…I’m motivated for this fight. Baldomir is a great fighter, I have to get beyond fighters like him for a world title,” stated Canelo.
When asked about him facing Julio Cesar Chavez Jr: “I’ll fight Chavez Jr anytime, it’s up to my promoters. Let them talk and reach an agreement, but I will fight him — no problem.”

I agree that Baldomir is old and slow. I still think he’s the best fighter Canelo has faced.
But Baldomir is to old and to slow, Canelo will win this fight, and it wont mean much.
Alvarez will be in the fight of his life in ther sense that Baldomir is best opponent he has faced so far.
I like this guy seen him fight twice and he aint bad at all he will win this fight easily and him Chavez would be pretty entertaining.
