The World Boxing Organization President, Francisco Valcárcel has stated that the WBO Executive Committee has resolved to bestow on the winner of the Miguel Cotto–Manny Pacquiao bout to be held on Saturday at the MGM Grand the WBO Super Champion belt, together with all the privileges and rights that accompany such a title; such as extension of mandatory title defense; eligibility to be considered for designation as the mandatory challenger in higher or lower division; eligibility to be considered for designation as the mandatory challenger in the same division; and, an honorary member of the WBO for life. For more information regarding the Super Champion designation, Section 14 of the WBO Regulations of World Championship Title is the place to go.

  3. well i stand corrected.. i havs just seen the result and highlites of the pac vs cotto fight..and by the photos and footage that isaw it looked liked pac totally destroyed cotto..i predicted a cotto win ..i wont predict sgainst him anymore..other than to say that he should beat up mayweather when they fight..however i do not beleive in any of these bullshit belts..i wish a world wide govening body would take conrol and get rid of these corrupt boxing oganisations..in the old days there was one champion and 10 contenders …bring it back…please..however i take my hat off to the pacman.he has made a fan of me..like lupe pinter said i think cotto should now retire.hes now taking too much punishment in the ring rosco
