Boxingscene recently reported that Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez owes more than $12.7 million in federal income taxes. The information is according to public records filed during September in Arizona.
According to the records obtained by the Detroit News, the IRS filed a $12,404,422.54 lien against Chavez last month. According to the lien Chavez owes income taxes from 1993 through 1999.
