Have you ever heard this saying, “Your best friend because your worst enemy” it’s sad to think that your best friend can ever back stab you, well it happens just ask Floyd Mayweather Jr. His best friend 50 cent AKA Curtis Jackson and Floyd started a boxing promotional company back in July, TMT Promotions. The Money Team signed up some of today’s great fighters including super middleweight contender Andre Dirrell, featherweight Yuriorkis Gamboa, Celestino Caballero, Zab Judah and a few others.

But ever since Mayweather’s jail release rumor is that he has been having personal and business issues with Jackson. Mayweather may be out of the picture and Mayweather’s arch-rival has teamed up with TMT Promotions.

50 Cent has team up with Manny Pacquiao. 50 Cent has posted a picture of himself with Manny Pacquiao and Pacquiao’s manager, Michael Koncz, recently told Boxingscene that his fighter is in the works with 50 cent.

“50 Cent and I have been talking now for maybe the last two months,” Koncz said. “They approached us with the idea to form a promotional company…I think with 50 Cent, with his entertainment connections and his popularity there, combining that with Manny’s popularity and expertise in boxing – we can bring a new flavor to boxing.”

Koncz also said that the idea was originally to have Floyd Mayweather as one-third of the partnership, but that Mayweather, apparently, is no longer part of the project.

50 Cent is also not holding back he was quoted on the Rickey Smiley show recently as saying that Floyd Mayweather isn’t the same since he’s gotten out of prison.

“Everybody around [Mayweather] is waiting on the next time he feels generous,” Fiddy said on the program. “And I have a lot [of money], so I don’t wait for nobody. It’s just a space and time. I’ll go and do what I have to do. I don’t gotta sit around and wait for the next time he feels like giving somebody something.”

“Floyd is a friend of mine,” 50 Cent said. “I look at Floyd like he’s my younger brother. He earns so much that he just spends it. He just runs around and spend it; he spend it and do what he want, so there’s no urgency to anything.”

Pacquiao, meanwhile, is set to face Juan Marquez in December and wants to put an end to any doubts regarding his superiority over his opponent.
