On Saturday, October 17, 2015 the Beachside Animal Hospital is holding a sponsorship event for Olympic Boxing hopeful Damien Lopez.
Please come out and support the sport of amateur boxing–our future champs!
This “Meet & Greet” event will be held THIS SATURDAY from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Beachside Animal Hospital (34205 Doheny Park Road, Capistrano Beach, CA 92624).
The event will feature low cost vaccines; the average vaccines will be $10 for the first 100 pet owners to arrive. The event will also feature music, food, drinks, a prize raffle (must be present to win), face painting, a boxing workout conducted by National PAL Champion and 2016 Olympic hopeful Damien Lopez, and more. Fun for the whole family!
Attending the event will be the World Boxing Council WBC reps, Cleto Reyes Boxing Equipment representatives, award-winning sculptor and trainer Steve Harpst (founder of the Burbank Boxing Club) and other special guests. An autograph session will also take place (photos available for autographs while supplies last). Sponsors include Zoetis Animal Health, Heavyweight Collection Tees, Purina Pet Foods along with individual sponsors. All proceeds from this event will go to sponsoring young Southern California boxer Damien Lopez and his quest for Olympic Gold in Rio 2016. Damien will be competing in the final Olympic qualifiers later this month in Memphis, Tennessee.
Be one of the first 100 pet owners (cats and dogs) to receive a low-cost vaccination, Saturday, October 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Beachside Animal Hospital. Enjoy a day of fun, a boxing workout by the beach, win raffle prizes and more while cheering on National PAL champion (and animal lover) Damien Lopez on his “Road to Rio” 2016!
The Beachside Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Grant in January 2015. Dr. Grant was also a High School and NCAA wrestling champion. He understands and appreciates the hard work and desire Damien brings in his quest to become a 2016 United States Olympian.
