A County District Court Judge, Valerie Adair, postponed Roger Mayweather’s felony charges which carry a 10-year prison sentence until January 24, 2011.

Roger Mayweather has pleaded not guilty to battery charges stemming from an August 2009 scuffle with 26-year-old Melissa St. Vil. who allegedly accuses Mayweather of punching her and chocking her until she was nearly unconscious before police arrived at the apartment where she was staying in Las Vegas.

This will be the second time the trial has been postponed for the 49-year-old uncle and trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr. it was originally delayed in August due to a scheduling conflict. Roger Mayweather continues to be free on $13,000 bail.
